About Me

Hi! I'm Connie, founder of Mindfully Yogi. I'm a Registered Yoga Teacher and Certified Wellness Coach, blending yoga's practices with psychological insights. As a mother, professional, and student, I understand the challenges of maintaining well-being amidst life's demands.

I earned my Bachelor's in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton, and I am currently pursuing a Master's in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. My approach combines scientific knowledge with a spiritual perspective, aiming to nurture both mind and body. My background as an ABA Behavior Therapist for children with developmental disorders and in educational support for neurodiverse adolescents enriches my capability for personalized care. In my current role, I focus on complex behaviors and learning needs, highlighting my commitment to tailored support and empathetic leadership. I am passionate about continuous personal and professional growth, valuing every interaction as an opportunity for mutual learning. My philosophy combines science and spirituality, inspiring my goal to nurture well-being and growth through yoga and mentoring. I'm driven by the collective power of strength, emotional intelligence, self-compassion, meaningful relationships, and strategic goal-setting as guidance. Embracing this shared journey, I value the reciprocal flow of learning and experience that enriches our path. I am committed to guiding, listening, and absorbing, embracing each interaction as an opportunity for new insights. This ethos creates a nurturing and empowering environment for my clients, allowing for tranquility and equilibrium in their lives, much like the flow of water. I aim to nurture a safe and supportive space, encouraging an exchange of wisdom and life experiences.
